monday The wedding party spent a relaxing day in the sun on our private Hilton Sandestin beach chairs. At dusk, we sunk our toes in the powdery white sand and toasted a breathtaking sunset with delicious tropical drinks at the Sand Bar, followed by sensational sushi made right before our eyes at Hadashi, Hilton's sophisticated sushi bar in Sandcastles Lounge.

tuesday More fun in the sun at the pools. We loved the enormous cheeseburgers, fresh seafood and refreshing salads served overlooking the Gulf at Barefoots Beachside Bar & Grill, and a light afternoon rain shower had us running inside to enjoy the huge Olympic-size indoor pool and relaxing whirl spa. Our evening was one to remember forever as we enjoyed a fun gathering around a bonfire on the beach.

wednesday Games were on today's agenda! With so many options for recreation, some went sailing in the tranquil bay; the anglers of the group chartered a fishing boat for adventures on the high seas, while others spent the entire day playing golf, as this resort hotel boasts four championship courses. A group of us girls went head-to-head in a heated tennis competition. With 15 courts to play on, we all got a chance to be a winner, and even enjoyed the rare thrill of playing on grass courts!

thursday Everybody was anxious to go shopping at the Village at Baytowne Wharf, The Market Shops at Sandestin, and nearby Silver Sands Factory Stores, the nation's largest designer outlet center. We got to show off our new outfits at the most elegant restaurant in the region... Seagar's Prime Steaks & Seafood, where the fine dining and service was unsurpassed.

friday Let the pampering begin! We spent the entire day indulging in treatments - massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, and more at Serenity by the sea Spa, Salon & Fitness Center - the best spa experience of our lives... we've never felt better.

saturday THE BIG DAY! Everything was flawless, from the beautiful ceremony on the beach to the lavish reception in the Emerald Ballroom. No detail was overlooked by the Hilton's Weddings & Special Events Department. We danced until dawn. Without a doubt, the best day of our life.

sunday The perfect ending to the perfect wedding... we met friends and family for a divine farewell brunch at Sandcastles Restaurant. There was no end to the variety of delights on this seemingly endless buffet of sumptuous fare.
